The niches are all interior and located conveniently upon entrance through the main door of Amaranth Abbey. The glass-front as well as the bronze faceplate niches are contemporary in design yet beautifully trimmed to blend with the dignity and ornate beauty of one of Columbus's most historic resting places. Types of UrnsBronze Urn (names and dates are required to be engraved on the urn). Marble Urn (names and dates are required to be engraved on or an engraved name plate adhered to the urn). No freestanding plaques on wood are permitted. Niche glass is not engravable. Union Cemetery must approve urns.
About Amaranth Abbey at Union CemeteryResting on a mature, wooded three-acre parcel in the historic section of Union Cemetery, Amaranth Abbey offers a breath-taking panorama of white Italian marble throughout its stately hallways.
